while growing up, we let go of many things,
like fighting for candies, or collecting small key rings.
i know, we all are busy with so much work,
each day brings new challenges, gives new jerks.
each hour of your life can bring new tasks,
we get so involved in it that we forget to laugh or ask.
but however packed your life goes,
don’t forget to stop and smell the rose.
treat yourself with chocolates whenever you feel like,
dance, write, play or sing loudly on a Mike.
along with your seriousness, keep the child in you alive,
let go off those formals, in the pool of fun go take a dive.
pause and meet some old friends and mates,
do smile at people, however you get late.
you will see a positive change in your days,
you’ll feel more light, you’ll find beautiful ways.
the work, studies, nothing would be a burden anymore,
keep it always energetic and happy, the child mode of yours.
Your poem makes everyone remember their childhood. Be happy and enjoy our childhood’s ability to energize our body and mind.
Very sweet poem Tanya, it is quite important to take a pause from your routine and enjoy the life…very nice.. keep it up.
Very enjoyable poem..your poem teaches us that we should always keep the child in us alive.. happiness comes from inside
