First showers of the rain ☁☔

after a sunny hot day, the sky turned a bit dark,

the sun seemed less bright, cool breeze could be felt in the park.

the drying flowers looked up at the sky with hope,

the women rushed and removed clothes from the hanging rope.

the birds shared some great news amongst themselves,

they were chirping so loudly, it seemed liked the sound of ringing bells.

the children were ready with small paperboats like the sailors,

many people went back home from work, be it be wendors or tailors.

it was the time for the first showers of rain,

no one wanted to miss this or let it go in vain.

the aroma of hot tea was spreading in the neighbourhood,

some were also preparing hot, crispy and tasty evening food.

without taking time, the heavens sent the showers,

the land was blessed,  so were the huge trees and tiny flowers.

the smell of wet soil just added in the good mood,

tea was served, people enjoyed and shared the food.

the dust was washed off, everything looked green,

the earth was sparkling, it looked so fresh and clean.

the scarcity of water in many areas decreased,

as the amount of rain falling from the sky increased.

the animals came out and took a bath in the rainwater,

the children danced too, the surrounding was filled with their laughter.

the land welcomed the rain and quenched it’s thirst,

God sent their blessings which in the form of first rainshowers emersed.

  3. Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
